Purchasing a property to live or work in is the biggest financial commitment most people make in their lifetime. But figures from the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors reveal that a staggering 80% of home buyers do not bother to get a professional survey.
A survey may seem expensive, but relative to the costs of buying a property, and bearing in mind the problems you might face in the future, it's a small price to pay.
West & Partners work throughout the south of England and are able to provide three types of survey depending on your individual requirements: Valuations on probate sales, company accounts or private sales; the Home Buyers Report, generally suitable for most modern homes of conventional type and construction; and Building Surveys (formerly known as Structural Surveys), which are recommended for period homes or properties of unusual construction.
The Practice carries out inspections within a week of instruction provided access is available and will provide a report within five working days.
